Today, we’re thrilled to share an incredible project from one of our talented community members, Marty—a master furniture maker and boat builder with nearly 50 years of experience.

This is #16 of Briggs Whitewater Dory and was built on commission after Marty’s client experienced the Grand Canyon in one of his earlier builds. This dory is a blend of beauty, strength, and craftsmanship.

Marty used 2" fiberglass tape at the bulkhead intersections and lots of 6 ounce fiberglass cloth for the build.
