Safety is very important when working with fiberglass and resin. Proper clothing and precautions should be taken to protect you from fumes and getting hazardous material on your skin. The first step should be to work in a well ventilated area.

Depending on your project, you will want to make sure you have gloves, eye protection and disposable clothing.  You may also want a dust mask.

Each of our hazardous materials have a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) available for download.  This includes known health and safety hazards as well as first aid measure and handling instructions. These instructions should be read carefully so you can determine what safety precautions should be taken.
