  • Acting as a thickening agent in resin
  • Used as an adhesive, putty, or filler for fine cracks and holes

Needed Supplies When Working with Fillers:

  • Stir sticks

 

Application:

  • Ensure the work area and resin are maintained within a temperature range of 70°F and 85°F.
  • Operate in a well-ventilated area and use proper safety gear, including gloves and a face mask.
  • Measure resin using a measuring cup.
  • Gradually add Glass Bubbles while stirring to achieve the desired consistency.
  • For polyester resin, add MEKP catalyst at a ratio of 1-2% of resin volume, adjusting for desired cure time and pot life.
  • Mix thoroughly and apply the resin-Glass Bubbles mixture using a brush, spreader, or squeegee.
  • Clean uncured polyester resin from tools using acetone.

 

Handling and Storage:

  • Always store Glass Bubbles in a closed container in a cool, dry place with temperatures below 75°F.
  • Keep away from sunlight and direct heat sources to maintain product integrity over time.
