Low exotherm mass casting water clear orthophthalic resin. Used for coating table tops, solid castings and encapsulating embedded objects. Cures with a surface tack. Also available in low styrene.

Question: Does Clear Casting Resin work with pigments?
Answer: Yes, it is compatible with most pigments. Check the manufacturer's instructions to make sure it is compatible with polyester resin.
Question: Why use Clear Casting polyester resin?
Answer: It is crystal clear and has low shrinkage, great dimensional stability and excellent crack resistance.
Question: Does this resin cure with a surface tack?
Answer: Yes. This allows subsequent layers to be added without the need for sanding in between.
Question: How thick can I pour this resin?
Answer: It is recommended to not exceed 1/4" per layer.
Question: Why choose clear casting resin over a tabletop epoxy resin?
Answer:Many people develop allergies to the epoxy resin. This is one reason polyester clear casting resin is preferred over epoxy resin.
