[/additional]These carbon fiber unidirectional are used to add stiffness and tensile strength in one direction without adding significant thickness or weight. When high tension and/or strength is needed, the unidirectional weave is the best material for these applications. The unidirectional fabric is interwoven with thread so the edges will not fray while working with the material. This is a unidirectional material and does not have an adhesive backing. Resin is needed to apply to the material.
