FIBERGLASS TAPE

Fiberglass cloth tape is easy to work with and can be used for a variety of applications.  It is great for smaller projects such as patch jobs, wrapping and working with corners and seams. Fiberglass tape has selvage edges that prevent unraveling.

We carry a 6 ounce fiberglass cloth tape in a plain weave.  The plain weave creates equal strength both horizontally and vertically.

The fiberglass tape comes in several different widths- 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 12 inches. They are all 50 yards in length. It is necessary to use a resin with the tape as it does not have an adhesive backing.  Fiberglass tape is compatible with epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester resin. It is easy to wet out.
